We're a group that showcases artwork including both the technical aspects of art, and the artists original creativity.
Whether you're looking to improve in art or just want to show your work to the community, this groups the one for it.
Respect other Artists - Disrespecting anyone within The-Semi-Realistics will get you permanently excluded and blacklisted from the group. Spamming or begging for artwork in the comments box or group messages is also not permitted.
Submission guidelines - Please make sure you submit to the right folders. If you are unsure of where to submit, below is a list of folders and descriptions to help.
We accept work based on both, the quality of art, and of course the balance between styles used. If your work does not meet these criteria then your submission will be declined
Traced, Copied or Stolen work -We do not accept any traced, copied or stolen work. Submitting any of these to the group will get you permanently excluded and blacklisted.
Quality of Art -
Our gallery only features finished, high quality artworks. Works in progress, abandoned works or anything that is unfinished will be declined. If your uploading from a sketchpad or photocopy, please make sure the artwork is clean before submitting.
What mediums are allowed? -
While we are generally open to the media/mediums used by artists, however some such as photography and crafts will be declined as it does not correlate to the theme of semi-realism
Featured: Featured works are selected by the group administrator. Submissions to this folder are not permitted.
Traditional - Any artwork produced with traditional mediums goes here. Submissions to this folder are unlimited.
Digital Media - Any artwork produced digitally goes here. Submissions to this folder are unlimited.
Animations -A folder for any moving or animated work. Submissions to this folder are unlimited.
Tutorials - A folder for tutorials and resources. Submissions to this folder are unlimited.
